How this site is paid for, in plain terms.
Paid links
Some links to software vendors may be affiliate links. If you click one and then buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. You don't pay more because of it.
Right now, no links on this site are affiliate links. Every outbound link goes straight to the vendor's own website. This page will list each vendor by name once a paid link is live.
Wherever a paid link appears, the button says “paid link” and the page shows a short disclosure near the top, before any link, so you can see it before you click. Paid links carry rel="sponsored".
Featured listings
Vendors can pay for a featured listing or category spotlight. Those are always labeled as sponsored. See Advertise for the options.
What money doesn't change
- Comparison verdicts, feature tables and guide recommendations are written from the vendors' official websites. A commission or a featured listing never changes what we say.
- Prices are only quoted when we read them on the vendor's official pricing page, and we label them with the month we checked.
- Vendors with no paid relationship are listed and compared the same way as those with one.
Why we tell you
The US Federal Trade Commission asks sites that earn commissions from links to say so clearly, close to the recommendation. See the FTC's Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking.
