What a small property needs from a PMS
For a 5–60 room property, the PMS is the front desk, the reservations book and the channel connection in one. Look for a built-in channel manager and booking engine (so OTA and direct bookings land in one calendar), integrated payments, housekeeping status, and setup and training help, because a small team has no IT person. Price is usually set by room count, so get a quote for your exact inventory.
