SpotOn pricing at a glance

SpotOn's restaurant pricing page lists three plans (checked Oct 2026):

All-In Plan: $0/station per month. $0 POS software and hardware. Card present 2.79% + 20¢, keyed 3.79% + 20¢. Processing minimums apply and there is a 2-year minimum term.

POS Essentials: $55/station per month. Month-to-month. Card present 2.45% + 15¢ (Amex 3.19% + 15¢), keyed 3.45% + 15¢. You buy the hardware, plus implementation costs; financing is available.

Build Your Own: custom pricing. For multi-unit and high-volume operators: custom processing rates and a discounted software bundle.

All plans include ordering, payments, table layouts, menu management, reporting and 24/7 support.

Hardware and implementation

SpotOn's listed hardware prices (sale price shown next to the regular price, checked Oct 2026): Station 15 $750 (regular $995), Station 10 $415 (regular $550), Handheld $297 (regular $495), guest-facing display $200, wireless router $300. Implementation is extra and covers the menu build, installation and staff training; the amount isn't published. SpotOn says you can't use your own hardware or tablets, and it recommends a backup 4G router in most cases (price comes from your rep).

The Core bundle: $50 + 0.20% of card volume

SpotOn sells Profit Assist (AI P&L analysis), SpotOn Order (commission-free branded online ordering) and Marketing Assist (automated text, email and social campaigns) as a Core bundle. SpotOn's formula: $50/month per location + 0.20% of monthly processing volume, with the 0.20% part capped at $200, so the bundle tops out at $250/month per location. Example: $60,000 a month in card sales × 0.20% = $120, plus $50 = $170/month. SpotOn's savings and ROI figures on that page are its own claims, not ours.

All-In vs Essentials: which costs less?

Using only SpotOn's published rates, for one station:

All-In charges 0.34 percentage point and 5¢ per payment more than Essentials on card-present sales, in exchange for $0 software and hardware.

Example at $30,000 a month in card-present sales with a $30 average ticket (1,000 payments): All-In fees ≈ $837 + $200 = $1,037. Essentials ≈ $735 + $150 = $885 in fees plus $55 software = $940, plus a Station 15 bought once at $750 and implementation.

At that volume Essentials saves about $97 a month, so a $750 terminal pays back in under 8 months before implementation. At lower volume All-In's higher rate costs less in dollars, but remember the processing minimum and the 2-year term. Run your own numbers with your card volume and ticket size.

What's included at no extra cost

SpotOn says 24/7/365 support from real people and software updates are included in the monthly cost, and it offers hardware financing and flat-fee capital loans through your rep (checked Oct 2026).
